This is such a good pressing. I think it’s the best pressed Tame Impala vinyl. No background noise at all, everything comes through so crisp. I have the variant made in .
-
Quality of this pressing is much better than Lonerism and Innerspeaker. My copies of those releases were both plagued with copious amounts of surface noise. This release isn't as quiet as my records from the 1970s and 1980s, but it is pretty good for this day and age.
-
Great pressing, great album. A small amount of surface noise that’s easily ignorable. Overall excellent dynamics and clarity - perfect to crank up to enjoy.
-
Great album, but I have to keep reminding myself that “Posthumous Forgiveness” is not the song that he did with Gorillaz
-
Great sounding album. I'm only just now warming up to the more Poppy sound of Tame Impala. This one is a good start.
-
Great sounding album, mastering is well balanced and no harshness that isn’t on digital versions. Well worth the money. Only critique is maybe poly sleeves could benefit these discs, but not a large expense to supply your own.
My equipment: Technics SL-1400 MK2, ATVM95SH Cartridge, Pioneer A-30 Amplifier, Klipsch Speakers -
-
Probably my best sounding album, such good melodies and songs, the production and mastering is A class, bass in particular is brilliant, I much prefer Currents and this to his muddy sounding first 2 albums, like a completely different (and much better sounding) artist, like the change in Radiohead pre and post Kid A (I'm 100% Kid A and post Kid A).
My gear: Modded Thorens TD 160 with a at vm540ml cart, Parks Audio Puffin preamp,Denon Pma-800ne amp, Dali Oberon 5 speakers. -

The side with "Lost In Yesterday" and "Is It True?" (my favourite songs of the album ) is really bad. The sound is kinda dull and muted. Disappointed.
