Edited 5 years agoEuphoric Chip and a gorgeous pressing that makes up for the rather odd sleeve (the cover for the standard edition is far better). I've had this on repeat all night despite all the labels being blank which has been a challenge but such a rewarding exercise. Bringing in new producers has resulted in a fuller more direct sound though some of the tracks still retain those leftfiled moments and sonic highlights that makes this band so special. Packaging aside, the coloured vinyl is lush much like the hooks and production. Thank God Hot Chip are still making music as good as this. Choice cut: 'Positive' - heaven on vinyl.
