an all time fav album! this was gifted to me when i was a teenager and just really starting to get into experimental genres of rock/pop/indie rock/psychedelic/synths etc etc for the first time and it totally blew my mind haha. still a huge fan of MGMT to this day and i love that they're still experimenting with great sounds and mixes of genres too! a very important album to my younger self's journey into self identification and musical preference. this particular CD copy is really cool too! i like the easy to store thin cardboard (i think?) case and the way the logo printed on the top of the cd is stylized after a classic vinyl record label, super creative!!
