Edited 4 years agoProbably the catchiest of all the band's singles 'Far' is a wonderful Brit-Popesque ditty that is wonderful and ionate. Taken from their incredible debut album it showcases Longpigs talent to not stick to what's popular and instead gives us a swinging rock tune that carries more swagger than most that were around at the time. Two different takes of the track appear on the single - the original album version (London) and a rough n' fuzzy rendition (Sheffield) - but both could stand on their own as an incredible burst of creativity from the group, it's just a shame they didn't manage to make a bigger dent at the time as they held a lot of promise.
