Simon Stafford

English musician, born in Westminster, London and studied music at university in Sheffield. Stafford plays a variety of instruments, including drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keyboard, and brass.
Stafford played bass with the Longpigs until they split in 2000. He became a member of 'Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros' from 2001 to 2002 where he played bass guitar & trombone. After the Mescaleros, Stafford returned to college and taught in Huddersfield and Liverpool. He has also played with Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley and toured with Babybird as well as drumming in Sheffield band Black Cat White Cat.
