Edited 10 months agoIt's a bit too expensive to truly be considered cheap heat, but considering the personnel involved, this LP is an absolute steal. The Don Blackman self-titled (featuring essentially the same backing band) commands eight times as much coin as this one, and while "'Nard" may not have a song as beautiful as "Holding You, Loving You" on it, I would argue that "Don Blackman" doesn't have anything quite as funky as "Haboglabotribin". If you can get a clean original copy in the $40-50 range, it's money well spent.
