This 16-bit reissue (Qobuz) sounds amazing. The clarity, dynamics, and mix are perfect. There's no ear daggers or boomy bass to contend with. There's a strong bass line but it's tight and well defined. The soundstage is very wide and deep, making speakers nearly disappear. Excellent! -
This is very strange pressing. Side 1 has G1 etched in the runout for a Carrollton pressing. But, side 2 has P for Pittman, 0 for Jacksonville, and 1S for Santa Maria. 🤷🏻♂️
What I do know is that this album is an absolutely perfect funk rock album! -
I guess I have a promo? White label, same numbering as both US pressings and all the usual "Demonstration - Not for Sale" labels. That makes this worth, what, seven cents more?
