I always notice that the Music on Vinyl releases are listed as Europe for Country, should the not be Worldwide? I buy them new at record stores in the US all the time.

MOV is one of those hit or miss labels. got some pressings where the OG would always trump the MOV. Though there are some titles (Slowdive, MGMT) where the music guys get the A+ vs the OG. Will sign off with this though...anything...and i mean anything will not be as atrocious as those other vinyl re-issues labels *Cough* *Cough* 4MWB *Cough* Scorpio.

Edited one year agomusic on vinyl is honestly great i have a ton of releases by them with only like one or two being not too good sound quality

Music On Vinyl is the best bang for your buck bar none. You can count on every release to sound amazing (ok, ok, leave room for the one in a million pressing defect). I always buy MOV when I can. You should, too. =)

Edited one year agoAn interesting company releasing mainly reissues from (I'm assuming) digital masters. For those that want to spin a record for the music, and not masturbate over the minutiae of whether it's audiophile or not, MOV's releases suffice just fine. For those that feel the need to tell everyone what cartridge, stylus, pre amp, amp and speakers they are listening to these releases through, this label probably ain't for you. In a market full of companies releasing fruitbowls instead of pancakes (looking at you Waxwork and Mondo), at least MOV generally get the basics right.

Edited 2 years agothey still think 180 is ok.) really no difference, but too much hard vinyls. instead of that they could make two releases. really overrated guys just on hype

MOV is one of the best reissue labels in the industry and I have a number of their titles in my possession.

Does anyone know if MoV ever issue albums with digital s included? I don't recall ever receiving a d/l card with mine.

my copy of souvlaki is the best in my collection and better then even a mofi record i own (weezer blue album) i will definitely be looking to get more mov records in the future

No issues with my copy of Star Wars saga collection by Robert Ziegler. Sounds great and looks great.
