Good mastering respecting the standards, with moderate background noise before and between the tracks showing that the groove could be a little deeper. It seems to be a 180g. Quality dynamics and stereo, it may be very similar to the 2018 US press. Cover looks good, no barcode, labels replicate the original edition ones. The booklet is unfortunately in italian only. No printed innersleeve with lyrics despite what the description says!
Weird that this repress is available for sale to italian citizens only, because it's a truely outstanding album with no fillers that needs to be distributed widely, in Europe at least. -

This album is a MASTERPIECE, EVERY SINGLE TRACK IS A KILLER !!!
Roy Ayers produced this album one year after his last album with his own band "Roy Ayers Ubiquity". Edwin Birdsong and William Allen, who were in the band as well, co-produced this album.
This is one of the 3 best Roy Ayers productions, with "Vibrations" and "Everybody Loves The Sunshine", released one year earlier (1976).
Soul-Jazz at its very best. INCREDIBLE SOULFUL BANGER !!! -

I am a huge R.Ayers fan, and have collected all of this 60s,70s and 80s albums (over 22 titles) and own this one too on vinyl & CD, but I find the vocals super hard to listen too and even irritating, is it just me ? not one of my go to R.Ayers work to be honest. -
Anybody have any more information on this release? Seems like it could be a bootleg since all the references to the label are removed, and the first two letters of the catalogue number are switched.
