Jackson Del Rey was one of the original of Savage Republic,
and this was his other project. He eventually left SR to devote his full
attention to 17 Pygmies. The first track on this EP "Lawrence Of Arabia"
has always been my favorite. It's a sort of bombastic middle eastern desert
surf rock, very much in the style of a typical Savage Republic composition.
The rest is more like lo'fi ethno rock with a psychedellic tinge. This LP
seems to be somewhat overlooked by collectors, and is presently a
bit undervalued in the DMP. Now is a good time to grab a copy.
Because there aren't too many of them out there. I rarely see
it in stores, or at record shows.

Did just see this, the record I did pay my most high price ever for a single 12", was 1984 on a flea market in , at that time 90,- DM. Now I see this so cheap here. It´s a very careful made record roundabout, handpainted, some golden color, aso..... This is real art! ;)
