No durations printed on release.
There are two different versions of this UK pressing. Both have identical gatefold covers but the matrix / runout inscriptions on side B are different and the length of "Winter Hill" differs. On this pressing it runs for the full 12'45". On To Each... it ends prematurely in a locked groove at 11'17" which appears to be an error by the cutting engineer in which there was an underestimation as to how long side B would be, with there being very little gap between the end of the track and the locked groove (roughly 4mm vs. 10mm on this version).

I just spun this to check playability as I currently have it up for sale, but I like it a lot and am considering pulling it off the store. I hearing this band on college radio more than 30 years ago but I didn't really know them well. Revisiting it all these years later, it stands out from most everything else. The obvious comparison to Joy Division doesn't do more than give a general point of reference. Personally, this record is more listenable than JD, which is why I think it's gonna stay in my collection for now. I recommend it. At least give it a listen, don't it by. It's not often I say this.

The picture of the tower on the record label is of the water tower at the Metrpolitan Vickers factory in Trafford Park, Manchester

To me it is not such a brilliant album, but "Winter Hill" is a really tremendous and overwhelming track. Throughout it's 12:45 the tension rises very subtle and finally doesn't simply burst, but slowly fades out as if a wind would blow it into pieces. This is very tricky.

this is one of the groundshaking records in the early 80's - at least for me. ACR's seemly high-pitched, cool space funk with lots of percussion and the permanent growling of space makes you feel kind of weird. this has nothing to do with 'factory sound' -this is beyond...
