I haven't compared this Scandinavian pressing to a UK pressing, but I can't imagine it could be much better than this.
Incredible dynamics, a great soundstage, and a deep black background, thanks to the superb Polydor pressing. If you're into «Talking Heads - Remain in Light,» you know what to do. ******

Fantastic record, sounds incredible. Highly recommended! Bought in 1981 after visiting the USA Southern states and hearing similar preacher voices on the radio.

Excellent press! Sounds great to my ears. Scored mine for 30 dollars at Reckless Records in the Chicago Loop and am very pleased.

Never really understood why the "Qu'ran" track was removed/censored - - it's respectful in every sense of the word, and honestly served as a beguiling introduction, for my Western ears, to the spiritual sounds and rhythms of Islamic incantation.

I was bought a copy of this for my 16 birthday in 1981. Now at 60 I still own and play the same record. And it still sounds incredible!

I have this version and it sounds amazing. I agree Qu’Ran is a great track. I wonder why it was censored in later versions. Spotify is censoring it too. I didn’t realize they did that. Shame, shame!

Totally agree with review below: this phenomenal album makes so much more sense with this pressing. This era of music was really done dirty being remastered for loudness.

Such a stellar album, this is the best pressing! You get the now deleted Qu'ran and Very, Very Hungry, it's replacement track. While it's certainly not the first album to feature sampling, it is a earlier example that still sounds good today. The first couple of tracks are more rhythmic and funky, while the later tracks are a bit more mysterious and darker. Fabulous stuff!!!

Easily the best sounding pressing of this important album. Snare a copy if you can!
