Pearl Jam – Lightning Bolt

No pops or clicks with me but does sound a little flat…..

Solid gatefold and quality inners and booklet.
Petal Jam releases certainly go the extra mile in this respect. I note the recent 2024 Dark Matter vinyl releases are similar quality.
Mastered slightly quieter so will require a notch or two increase on volume dial to get the real meat and veg out of this pressing. Side two is noticeably better than 1 to my ears at least.

I just recieved a sealed copy today, didn’t know if it was a US or EU pressing. Turns out it is EU, pressed by GZ. Sleeve was impressive, but the disc.. lots of debris and fingerprints(!), really quite a let down. I’m hoping an ultrasonic clean will address it, but with GZ it is just so hit and miss. Where’s the QA?

Typical United Pressing - the sound is good, but the pressing is warped and off-center. PJ should really find a better pressing plant, these guys have major quality control issues.

Got my copy in early 2021, did not come with the printed inner sleeve in pics 7 and 8, but rather the plain black sleeve in pic 6. Not that it really matters, just found it interesting

Sounds amazing, really wide sound field, instruments separated really well. Sounds great on speakers or headphones. Packaging spot on, though I think they go overboard with the booklets, bit chunky! Side A is best thing they’ve done since Yield IMO, side B’s a bit patchy, but still enjoy it.

This is such a great package. Lovely thick card, fun cut out window, sticker sheet and a really well presented lyric book. Whole thing exudes quality.

Bought the day it came out and it never skipped. Plays fine and sounds nice.

My copy is perfect. Damn this sounds good! As always with Pearl Jam their gatefold packaging is phenomenal and the pressing is pristine!

The highest sold price 327€? Did I missed something here?
