Avoid this pressing, it sounds terrible.
I lacks treble, well, fidellity in general. Sounds very very dull. My copy doesn't look bad at all, and I'm pretty sure that the problem is not due to groove wear.
Another bad point is that it isn't a gatefold as the original and the inner sleeves are white, not printed.
If someone have a copy and sounds ok let me know please.

These must be isolated incidents, my copy has a very little bit of distortion at the outset of side C (non-musical/announcement portion) but settles down and sounds great throughout the rest of the side. No other issues on any other side. Great sound, great pressing for a colored vinyl release.

This album is killer turn it up !! Mistreated jams…Starstruck rocks and need I say more Catch the Rainbow takes one whole side 🙌🏼 love it !!!

If the 70's were great for one thing it would be the amount of excellent double "live" albums released in the decade. This is my Rainbow go-to even with the inclusion of the "going to skip every time" keyboard solo & exclusion of Stargazer. This is also a sad reminder that records pressed during the golden age of vinyl (1970's) sound so much better than what's happening today. Dio fan? Blackmore fan? Unless you've got this you are a fan of neither.

This is a great sounding reissue but music aside Is this one of the worst LP sleeves of all time? I think so, it’s so cheap looking, like it’s advertising detergent or something.

Per Wikipedia concerning this deluxe edition of Rainbow On Stage. "The second disc was originally planned to contain tracks from the concert hall at the "Orix Theater" (formerly Osaka Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan) in Osaka, Japan (December 9, 1976). Instead the second disc contains tracks from the final Rainbow gig in Tokyo, Japan at the "Nippon Budokan Hall" on December 16, 1976.[14]" So while the trackless above is correct since that is what it actually says on the release, for awareness the actual recording is not what is listed on the release. (Still a great show though!)
