This is the only release (to my knowledge) who appears the short edit of ''take me'' in the a side.
An unique rarity in the Donna Summer catalogue.
It's listed on the tape as ''take me'' (reprise) and it's 2.58 long

I've heard a few pressings of this album, this one is a winner.

I own the closely same than this one but i can't find my french version with " IDN Printed in England "

The attention to detail is obvious, great mix, super thick amazing sound. Big time disco feel to the tracks for the most part. I Feel Love is an absolute game changer in dance music history.

I Yesterday her fifth studio album released on May 13, 1977, seven months after the release of her previous album. Like her previous three albums, it was a concept album, with Summer combining the recent disco sound with various sounds of the past,the album was recorded in Munich at Musicland Studios and Arco Studios with Summer's long-term collaborators and production team headed by producers Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte,Moroder seems to crop up a lot in my record collection,from both movie soundtracks The Never Ending Story and Electric Dreams( influenced my name). Arrangements were handled by Thor Baldursson. The artwork was designed by Gribbitt! with photography by Victor Skrebneski.
On a couple of tracks I'm hearing her vocals similar to Debbie Harry, perhaps that's down to Blondie dipping their toe in the disco genre.
This album, which I own the UK original vinyl release includes the singles "Can't We Just Sit Down (And Talk It Over)", the title track, "Love's Unkind", "Back in Love Again" and "I Feel Love" the latter of which came to be one of Summer's signature songs, also my favourite.

Excelent sounding album. I have a original pressing and after almoust 40 years sound amazing!

how one can be shure this one is not the original NBLP7056, 1977 release other than the version with plain white background Oasis center label or even one that's not listed yet among "View All" versions with the white golf ball alike background Oasis center label ?
