Track 2 is a sick tune, proper savage old school trance.

This version run time is 09:29. The release version on Positiva is an edit to comply with U.K. chart rules of 20 mins for a single.

What I love is that everyone said at the time that these tunes would die out so quickly. They certainly didn't for me, I still crave them, my favorite DJ's still do vinyl sets and bring them in, I still love them just as much as I did back then. I don't know if the people commenting here are in their 40's or even 50's or they're in their teens.
None of it matters, these are killer tunes that elevated a generation to a nicer place in time, and they continue to do so 20 years later. Amen

While I love the initial build in the PVD mix, the break in the middle is just so disruptive, doesn't belong to the track and takes me right out of the tune.
I do love the Matt Darey mix because it keeps you engaged for the whole tune and the break is done really damn well in that classic vibe.
The original mix is just so bonkers, I wonder if they knew what they were starting.

No ones wrong and no ones right on these different mixes as it's all subjective. It's down to taste and what it means to you. PVD mix is my favorite. It's the one that was played lots back in the day while clubbing and it brings back happy memories. Simple as that!

'1998 (Binary Finary Classic Mix)' is the original version, with the 'animal' sound at approx 4:15.

It’s a notoriously quiet version, has to be made on xerox copier

I also had problems beatmatching this track specifically because it's all over the place. Assuming it was recorded from live instruments for whatever reason and they later had to go back to edit it. I specifically came here to check the price and because i like the 1998 (Dave Ralph's Fear & Loathing Mix) the best. I used to demonstrate that on Sashas forms lol. weird pressing.
