My sealed copy came with some surface noise, even after wet cleaning. It’s fairly light and only on some portions, but a lot more significant on Side D for me.
EDIT: I bought a second copy because I really wanted a great copy of this album. It had surface noise in almost the exact same spots. It was slightly better though, so I’m not sure what that means. I’ll just hope for a reissue or something. -

My copy has a cd copy of the album enclosed with it. Black card sleeve with The Horrors written on in white.
Everything else as is written here.

The quality of this pressing is an example of superb differentiation in vinyl mastering and production (comparable to "Master of Reality" by BS or "Songs for the Deaf" by qotsa - in my collection at least). Where the tunes sound shallow on spotify, they dominate in a proper analogue setup. The drone elements prevail on this one. Completely different approach. -

My copy, unfortunately, has a lot of cracking noise all over. Mostly side 1A. Even after washing three times. It would be better if it was a gatefold too. But the album is so good it still sounds amazing. Mastering and sound spectrum are awesome. -
While being an unexpected departure from his punk roots, Primary Colours opens the way that shows everything they're capable of as a band, mixing post-punk bases and vocals with shoegaze guitars and some krautrock references (the fantastic "Sea Within a Sea").

Can anyone comment on the quality of this pressing? , words, words, words -
This reminds me of The Cure, although this has a more modern sound, it also has flavours of Bowie. This is album that we grow on me, as on first listen I couldn't really get into it.
Stand Out Tracks: 'Three Decades', 'Who Can Say', 'Scarlet Fields' -
Does anyone have the track listing for the mixtape? It's a great mix - been after the details for years.
