Favorite GmbH

German company ed 1904 In Linden (Hannover) by Ing. Otto Multhaupt (* 5. Februar 1871) and Fritz Kindermann, factory owner from Berlin. It grew to add a second factory in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. In 1912, the company was transformed to Favorite Record A.-G. and in the following year Carl Lindström A.-G. initiated an agressive takeover, achieving a controlling share that year and fully adquiring it in 1915.

It launched the Favorite label somewhere between 1905 and 1906.

Around 1910, Favorite records entered a deal Brazilian Casa Faulhaber & Co. for the pressing of local recordings. The deal last roughly until 1913 when Lindström initated takeover.
