I aim to please. I ship with care. Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splitting (records that are still factory sealed are shipped that way, but they are well-secured to prevent movement in the package.) I use cardboard fillers and sometimes bubble wrap.

CDs and cassettes are sent in bubble mailers with additional bubble and firm cardboard inserts around the CDs or cassettes themselves. Larger orders of CDs and cassettes are sent in boxes with lots of protection for the items inside the boxes.

I ship within 1-3 business days of receiving payment. All orders are sent with tracking, and I notify customers when the order has shipped and include the tracking number in that notification.

In the U.S., I ship using Media Mail.

At this time, I am only shipping to the U.S. and Canada.

Orders not paid for within 4 days are set to cancel automatically.

GRADING NOTES:

Per discogs guidelines, CD jewel cases and cassette cases are not graded. The grade is for the media and the inserts. But I won't send you anything in a case with a crack, any broken part, or a big mess of scratches or scuffs, unless I've mentioned it in the description.

Near Mint here is Mint but unsealed. Perfect but opened. If there is anything -- a ghost scuff you only see on the fifth tilt under light, a tiny, completely superficial line made of air and measuring a millimeter -- it is not NM. Many are not grading things this way. My VG+'s are better than many people's Near Mints.

MINT means unopened at Lyndale Records. If it's opened, the highest grade can be Near Mint. Perfect, pristine, unplayed and apparently untouched does not mean Mint if the item has been opened. It means Near Mint.

A word about the VERY GOOD rating:

I sell very few things that are below VG+ on discogs. I have tons of stuff that's below VG+, but it makes more sense to sell it to people in person, so they can look it over and decide. So if my descriptions seem repetitive, it's not because I call everything excellent. It's because of what I choose to sell here. Discogs gets the best of what I have.

That said, as a buyer here, I quickly learned that people would list garbage as VG. After two orders, I stopped looking at anything below VG+. But as a seller, this presents a problem: VG+’s should play flawlessly. But if a record plays almost flawlessly, or overall quite reasonably and enjoyably, you’d like to have the level right below VG+ be one where people don’t dump total nightmares. I don’t know how VG became a place where anything goes, but at Lyndale Records, anything does not go. What goes is this:

VG+s play flawlessly, or, in a very small amount of cases, so close to flawlessly that I’ve mentioned the faint, fleeting moment of surface noise, or whatever it is, in the description instead of banishing the record to VG.

VGs play well -- often very well. There might be some surface noise in a spot or three, or very faint surface noise under the music in more than a spot or three, or there might be a light click in a spot or two, or a moment or two of quiet crackle. What you won’t get with my VGs are records with significant, non-superficial scratches. If I sell those at all, they’re graded lower. So if you don't mind some substantial vinyl "atmosphere," you might even want to look at my Good-Plusses. It shouldn't take you long; there won't be many.

So the VGs here are worth a look. They might not be perfect, but they won't be like the horrors you've seen. And I'll often have more info in the descriptions, to help you decide whether to pull the trigger.

Also, all of that was about records. Every CD that I sell here plays perfectly. If it doesn't, I just chuck the thing. But I'll sometimes use VG or lower for aesthetics.

I want you to be satisfied with your order. If you have any problem whatsoever, please let me know and I will solve the problem.

Also, if you live in the Minneapolis area and have some music that you want to sell, please send me a message.

Thanks for reading!
