General information:.

If you consider purchasing a record/cd from my inventory. please always feel welcome to message me. I am happy to provide you with information, pictures or videos. I aspire to be as accurate, helpful, and transparent as possible.

I am not a professional merchant and only sell records from my own collection. The few items in mint condition I offer were either bought twice by myself directly from artists or labels, I received them as gifts, or were never opened due to other reasons.

Grading, Preparation and Packaging:

All my items are play-tested and graded accordingly. Before offering a record/cd for sell, I will do my best to grade the items condition as accurate and honest as I can.

All vinyl are cleaned before I offer them for sale. In addition, I will listen to the whole record - or at least most songs - to provide an accurate judgement of its quality. I use a manual cleaning machine by Knosti, so no record has been cleaned professionally yet. However, I put in my best effort, only use distilled water and high quality cleaning solutions by Knosti. Depending on how dirty a record is, I will put it through the cleaning process several times to ensure the best results.

Before offering CDs for sale, I will listen to the whole album- or at least most songs - to grade them accurately. In my grading of CD "sleeves", I do include only the artwork, booklets, digipaks, or unique jewel cases. In addition, I will always add a grading on the condition of regular, replacable jewel cases, just so you are informed about it.

All cassettes are playgraded, too. I do not have a high quality tape deck, so tape hiss is more pronounced on the items I am offering for sale. I always mention it and I expect, if you have a tape deck of higher quality, you will most likely have a better listening experience than me.

I base my grading on the Goldmine Standard, and I am very cautios not to overrate my items. In general, I tend to grade my items quite conservatively. I rather have you, as my customers, feel surprised that the condition is better than you expected than leave you disappointed.
Often, a lower grading, like VG or even VG+, will lead people to choose another seller. Being accurate, honest, and maybe sometimes overly cautious may not be good for selling products, but I can feel sure that you will feel satisfied with your purchase and I stick to my values. There are some Goldmine Standard guidelines I do not follow accurately. E.g. if a record plays with a couple of skips, but sounds great apart from that, I will grade it lower and mention it. However, I won't give it a G / G+ grading overall then.

If you purchase a record from me and sincerely feel like I did not give an accurate grading, please let me know so I can reconsider my evaluations.

Shipping:

Orders are shipped with DHL within one to four working days after the payment was succesful. Shipping costs are pre-set in Discogs according to weight.
Within , you are also able to choose DPD if you purchase up to three CDs or vinyl records from my inventory. DPD offers lower shipping costs in comparison to DHL, but please also keep in mind that, in general, it will take longer for your order to arrive.

If in some cases I am not able to ship immediately, like having private situations that hinder me in doing so, I will send you a message. I will let you know the exact date I will be able to ship and, if a case like this occurs, I highly appreciate your patience.

All orders are packaged with care. Vinyl come in a new anti-static inner sleeve unless the original inner sleeve is already of high quality. A new outer sleeve is also included.
Records are taken out of the sleeve for shipping to avoid possible seam splits unless it's a mint item. In that case, please let me know if you would like me to carefully slit open the plastic shrink wrap (not remove it) and take out the record for shipping.

Like I have mentioned, I try to package my items with as much care and effort as possible. However, during transit, it can happen that a seam split occurs with a mint record. So far, it has never happened to me as a seller, but I received quite a few records as a buyer on Discogs, from labels/artists or other sellers that had seam splits.

So, please, if you want to avoid the possibility of a seam split completely with a sealed record, just let me know and I will take the record out for shipping.

These are the informations that are important for you, as the buyer, and I hope it will allow you to have a clear overview on how I operate selling on Discogs.

The following also include a few points to protect myself from scammers on Discogs. Buyers who try to scam sellers ar rare on this platform, but I need to add these to protect myself from fraudulent behavior.

When you purchase an item (or more) from me, you agree to the following and conditions:

- Orders must be paid for within four days.

- Buyer covers the shipping costs.

- I only accept PayPal Commerce as a method of payment (currently).

- All orders are shipped tracked and insured with DHL. I won't ship without tracking and insurance, unless it's an item worth less than 5€ and within .

- Shipping costs are pre-set within Discogs (by weight). In general, I am open to negotiate different shipping options and prices. Just me before purchasing and maybe we can figure something out! ;)

- If your country isn't available for ordering please message me and I will check if I can ship to your destination.

- I twice had experiences with potential scammers on Discogs who tried to purchase records from me. In these cases, I was able to notice it by several signs/indications. So I canceled the orders, sent a refund, and notified Discogs. I still operate in the same manner: If I notice scammers, I will cancel the order and refund the money within 72 hours. Potentially I will notify the Discogs .

- So far, it has not happened to me personally, but I have heard of fraudulent buyers who will purchase records and claim that they are damaged. Then, they will either want a partial refund or return the record. However, in some cases, they will return a different copy, trying to trick the seller.. Therefore I have implemented many methods to identify the records I sell and know how to deal with these situations.

- In general, please don't try to scam me! :p Discogs is a wonderful platform for collecters and a great marketplace. Let us all just keep it like that! Be friendly, fair, and honest :)

Return and Refund Policy:

So far, it has never occured to me personally, but if you receive a visibly damaged package please follow these steps:

1. When the parcel courier arrives and you notice the package has been damaged during shipping, please ask the parcel courier to (with a signature, pictures, and information they can add to their system) the damage.

2. If the package is visibly damaged on the outside, please make pictures and/or videos while opening it.

3. When the record or CD and not just the package itself is damaged, please again document it in various forms.

If you follow these steps and we can thereby proove that the parcel delivery service (DHL) is responsible for the damage and the insurance will cover the costs. So neither you nor me will lose any money.

In general, if you feel dissatisfied with the item you received, please me and we will find a solution together! I will always offer you to return the item and I will cover the shipping costs. I am also able to offer partial refunds if you can proove that I did not grade the item correctly or I haven't noticed any damage to it. This has never happened before to me as a seller - and I hope it won't - but I promise to be as helpful and generous as possible.
