SHIPPING:

I send small items (CDs, cassettes, 45s) priced at £15 or less via ordinary post to addresses in the UK, unless you specifically ask for tracked. Anything priced over £15 (and all vinyl albums and 12's) I prefer to send via tracked postal methods to ensure their safe arrival. The international shipping prices listed on the Discogs invoice are for tracked shipping which are now high everywhere, extremely high to some places, especially to the USA. I am happy to send items using cheaper postal methods by agreement with the buyer who must accept the risks of doing it that way. Just drop me a message if you are want to go with a diiferent option than the one listed when you order. I try to keep the cost of postage down as far as possible, what I charge you just covers the postage charge and the cost of the packaging.

Feel free to check postage price with me in case the item is lighter (or heavier ) than normal, not everything fits into the strict weight category as defined by Discogs.

Doubles of anything count as 2. Some albums have heavy cardboard covers which might add to the postage cost, I will let you know if that is the case.

If you would like me to send CDs without the jewel case I am happy to do that and give you an amended postage price.

I will wrap items as securely as possible to avoid damage in transit. If an item is damaged when you receive it I will refund the purchase price, minus the Paypal fee, once it has been returned to me.

CONDITION:

All items listed are from my own collection which I am selling off as a downsizing necessity so I usually only ever have one copy of each, apart from the odd doubles, and conditions do vary. I try and look after them as best I can so they will usually be in the same condition as when purchased, and the conditions can vary a bit.

Records and CDs listed as VG+ and above will be unmarked, no scratches, hairlines or scuffs. If any of those are present it will be mentioned in the description and in some cases the item downgraded to VG. I listen to everything before listing to make sure they play alright. There may be times when I miss something and I am more than happy to resolve any issues when that does happen. VG+ tends to be my top grade for records unless I know for sure a record has never been played, or possibly played once by me. I always tend to verge on very cautious with gradings so I tend not to use NM or Mint with records as even a really good looking record can still play badly.

My gradings explained. I tend to grade records as VG+ or lower as Mint to me would mean a new item which has never been played and I don't sell those, apart from the occasional sealed copy which I have never got round to opening. Those I would grade as Mint. I use NM if I bought a record or CD brand new and then only played it once or twice and it shows little or no sign or sound of use. My VG+ grade for records is that they are free from visible marks and unwanted sounds. If a record has marks or unwanted noises I will say so in the description, and will lower the grade, and price, accordingly. I use NM for CDs where the play surface has no (or virtually no discernible) marks at all. My VG+ grade for CDs might include light marks and hairlines as they rarely interfere with the sound. I try to ensure items meet these standards but I accept that I might get it wrong sometimes.

I always mention the condition of a record sleeve as everyone's view of the gradings for these seems to vary so much. If a sleeve is just listed as VG+ with no other description that will mean it is unmarked with absolute minimal wear, if any. Any marks or issues will be mentioned in the description.

I will try to send your invoice within 48 hours. Payment should be made within 7 days of receiving the invoice, if it is not the order will be cancelled by Discogs automatically.
