These items are therefore housed in a home environment containing pet hair/dander, cigarette/candle smoke, gluten, sub-par city water, loud music, alcohol consumption, non-vegan food, and the occasional really bad idea including (but not limited to) poor financial decisions, fashion faux pas, and general apathy on a pretty broad scale. Sensitive groups should steer clear.
In all seriousness, you are viewing an item not from a retail store, but from someone's home - in this case, a pet and smoke friendly environment. In most cases, records have remained sealed and/or been stored in resealable sleeves and some even stored off-site, but by purchasing from my store, you acknowledge that items may possess remnants of a less than perfect environment inhabited by less than perfect people. I will stand behind my items and my grading, but refunds will not be issued for "smoke smell" or similar complaints.
Records will be shipped outside of the sleeves where practical. Sealed items will remain sealed unless buyer requests they be opened. I try to ship within 2 days but that isn't always possible.
