I attempt to use whiplash mailers (or equivalent, ie. something with bumpers for protection) for records as much as possible. I do recycle shipping boxes and recycle cardboard to ship albums. These will always be reinforced and guaranteed if there is damage to the LP upon arrival. Shipping rates incorporate that cost as the mailers are not cheap, but provide extra protection.
U.S. - 1st CD is $6, $1 each additional.
Canada CDs are $14 for first, $2 each additional.
Overseas CDs are $20 for first, $5 each additional. With recent changes in how the USPS handles flat items, the increase in rates for CDs internationally is unavoidable. We used to be able to ship for $10 or a little less, not the case anymore.
Vinyl pieces for U.S. $6.95 media mail for the 1st LP, $1 each additional. I will ship anything priority if requested - write for exact rates.
