SHIPPING:
⛧ FREE SHIPPING IN THE US FOR ORDERS OVER $100.

I only ship to the address you gave Discogs. Please make sure it is up to date. Orders are automatically imported into Pirate Ship using the address on file with Discogs, so I will likely not see any messages about other addresses.

⛧ Items ship from La Mesa, CA. Buyers in the San Diego area can arrange for free pickup if desired.

Insurance is not required, but recommended. Add $1.00 for US addresses, $2.00 for international. Insurance is provided via Shipsurance.

⛧ It's rare, but the USPS does lose packages. Once your package is in the USPS system with a tracking number, I am no longer responsible for it. I do not provide refunds for lost packages. If this is a concern for you, I recommend you purchase insurance. It's a couple of bucks, just let me know before paying.

International shipping rates are determined by weight of package, not the Discogs estimate, and are subject to adjustment. International packages over 4 pounds must fit into a USPS Flat rate box. I'm more than happy to send to whatever country you are in, but I do not offer refunds on international orders for any reason, including if the package is lost in the international postal system or your country's postal system. If you are interested in alternate arrangements to save some money (i.e. no jewel case), shoot me an message before ordering. As mentioned, you may add insurance for $2.00.

Shellac Records are packed as carefully as possible. But they are very fragile, and I do not guarantee they will survive shipping. No refunds for broken shellac records, so buyer beware. If you are in the San Diego, we can arrange a pickup.

GRADING:

⛧ Grading is based on visual inspection. If there are no notes, then I do not think there is anything notable in addition to the condition stated. Here are the Discogs definitions that I use:

MEDIA

M: Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played. Should be used sparingly as a grade.
NM: A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear.
VG+: Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
VG: Noticeable groove wear and light scratches. Surface noise will not overpower the music.
G / G+: Can play without skipping. Significant scratches, surface noise, and groove wear.
F / P: [Media] is cracked, badly warped, or won't play through without skipping or repeating.

SLEEVE / PACKAGING:

M: Still sealed, never played.
NM: VINYL: Sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc. CD: Near Perfect. No obvious wear, it may have only the slightest of marks from handling. CASSETTE: Sleeve should be totally crisp and clean with only the slightest evidence of handling. Tape is likely new, free of any wear or damage.
VG+: VINYL: The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, slightly turned-up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. CD: Slight wear, marks, indentations, it may possibly have a cut-out hole (or similar). CASSETTE: Sleeve has slight wear, marks, indentations, and/or may possibly have a cut-out hole (or similar). Tape has been taken very good care of and may have light marks or spindle wear.
VG: VINYL: Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. CD: More wear, marks, indentations than a VG+. May have slight fading, a small tear/rip, or some writing. CASSETTE: Sleeve will contain more wear, marks, and/or indentations than a VG+. May have slight fading, a small tear/rip, or some writing. Shell may have heavier marks and wear than VG including plastic discoloration.
G / G+: VINYL: A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. CD: Well worn, marked, more obvious indentations, fading, writing, than a VG - possibly a more significant tear/rip. CASSETTE: Sleeve will be well worn, marked, and contain obvious indentations, fading, and/or writing, more so than a VG grade - possibly a more significant tear/rip. Tape will have heavy wear on shell. Felt stopper may be missing.
F / P: VINYL: The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon. CD: Very worn. It may have obvious writing on it, it may be ripped/torn, or significantly faded, or water damaged. CASSETTE: Sleeve will be torn, heavily stained, showing general heavy damage, or will be partially missing. Likewise, tape will be heavily damaged, showing complete fading on the face, crinkled tape, missing screws or teeth, staining, and other heavy wear.

Record inserts and original inner sleeves should not be assumed to be included . Please check before purchasing.

⛧ Replaceable parts (Jewel cases, clamshell cases, poly bags, generic sleeves, etc.) are NOT factored into grading.

JEWEL CASES: Jewel cases are not graded. Jewel cases do not factor into grading whatsoever. A NM CD and artwork may have a cracked case. It is wasteful for me to replace every jewel case with a crack or other defects. However, I will not send a CD with broken hinges or spindle teeth.

PACKAGING:

⛧ I recycle packaging whenever possible.

⛧ CD's and records are packed with cardboard, plastic, or foam core. These should be considered extra protection and not a "stiffener".
