I'm an avid collector and my philosophy is that if I don't like it a lot,
it's better it finds a new home with someone who does.

Grading Media / Cover
The records I sell have all been scrutinized carefully,
they are in the condition I want when I buy myself,
ie no loose covers due to dried glue or split inner sleeve
(which may cause a split on the cover as the record is sharp as a razor blade).

I aim to make notes of any irregularity,
like background noise, crackling, or cutout, writing, ring wear, sticker on cover, original inner sleeve.

LPs and Maxis from 10 Euros and up are already clean or washed in a professional vacuum-cleaning machine,
in most cases play-graded, but at least test-played if there are visible marks.
They also don't have un-repaired splits on cover.

LPs and Maxis under 10 Euro are sometimes also washed (if they are too dirty),
and test-played if they have marks that may affect sound.

After that the record is graded - and I grade very conservatively -
and I try to price items fairly, according to market price (recently sold or price offered for that release/grade).

M - Mint to me is only if the record has definitely never been played, that is comes in a sealed cover.

NM = The media is in top quality, nice and glossy, and have no marks. Has obviously only been played a few times. (some sellers grade this as M)

EX (listed as NM with information in description) = one or two superficial thin lines (most times just from being taken in/out of a hard cover inner sleeve),
collectors copy that have been played but handled very carefully. Listed by most sellers as NM, without additional information.

Close to EX (listed as VG+, with information in description) = Like EX, but with a few more superficial thin lines.

From my own purchases/experience, EX and even close to EX records/Covers are graded by many sellers on discogs as NM,
without making any additional notes.
I give more information than usual, so you know what you will get,
and will hopefully be positively surprised (that the Record/Cover is better than expected : ).

Singles and CDs are usually only visually graded under strong light (conservatively),
with the exception of pricey items which are test-played.
Pricey Singles are in most cases washed in a professional record cleaner.
And EX is mostly just smudge, which might very well turn out to be a solid NM after a wash.

If there are any disagreements regarding the condition of the items, we will try to solve it amicably.
Should the buyer want a refund, the buyer is responsible for paying return freight.
Once the parcel is received, we will process a refund.
