We ship on Monday or Tuesday and on Thursday or Friday. We have to drive 30km to drop off the goods to get customers the best rates. We as a seller are not responsible for quality of the recording itself, neither vinyl nor CD(r).
CDr’s can have recorded ticks and stickered CDr’s can deteriorate while being stocked.
Record Grading:
Lacquer horns (see our profile page) are disregarded when grading records as they are part of the pressing (process) and not usage marks.
Tilting the record can help understand they are only visible under a certain angle.
We are not responsible for lower quality recordings due to bad mastering, etc.
The definition of a record includes both cover and vinyl including labels if present.
We disregard (price) store stickers on covers, i do mention stickers on labels.
We mention all non-original additions such as writing or marking on vinyl, sleeve or cover.
Checking an unplayed record may cause the slightest marks, therefore we hardly use MINT!
Record playgrade is more important than visual aspects starting from VG and lower.
A record that plays flawless (like new) with many scratches will be graded VG+.
A record with no marks which plays VG is graded VG.
The vast majority of our used records for sale have been playgraded completely.
CD Grading:
We do not grade standard cd cases and disregard (price) store stickers on them.
We do grade digipaks but disregard shop stickers on them. We do mention severe damage to unique containers.
SEALED items might be graded NM as a safety precaution, as nothing in this world is PERFECT!
CD grading is very subjective, VG+ --> VG --> G+ --> G means more scratches but still playing throughout.
A CD might be sometimes graded for the data area only without mentioning this.
