Reviews
-
Tons of surface noise and popping on my copy. It couldn't be any cleaner, it's NM. Cleaned, still sounds poppy. No impressed.
-
-
Very well presented and the LP plays great, however the 45 skips in the exact same place as my friends copy!

Edited 2 years agosounds great all around. note that the 7" is at 45rpm, it's not listed anywhere on the record or the packaging though.
-
FANTASTIC all-around packaging of a stone-cold hip-hop classic. The additional perks of this package are more than welcome, and the remastered sound is a truly stereophonic upgrade from the original pressing. Definitely invest in an original pressing at some point, as you can never have too many copies of this album in your life.
But yea, VMP smacked it out of the park with this one. It's a true vinyl lover's dream! -
The reissue for this album is fantastic! The only thing that sticks out though is that my copy of the bonus 7" skips in multiple parts in side A. Does anyone else have this same problem with their copy?
-
I had never listened to Main Source but really enjoyed this album. As Ryan said, the packaging was beautiful. I've been very pleased since I signed up for VMP.
-
Huge ups to VMP on this one. This is a group I had only heard of years ago, until this beautiful reissue. The wax is gorgeous, and I needed this album in my life. Amazing production and lyrical stylings. Keep reigniting classics, VMP! On an absolute tear with the last 5 records of the month.
-
Beautiful packaging and a great looking record. Sounds decent compared to the original. No complaints
