Edited one month agoI’m disagree with most of these comments. My pressing skips a lot and it’s very annoying. This isn’t pressed very well. Other than that, everything else with this record is fine and the bass is loud. It’s just the skips that ruin this.

Clean pressing but not the best mastering I've heard. Audible distortion at times that comes just bad mastering.

Edited 3 months agoMy copy is kind of a mess. The discs were incredibly dirty. Disc 2 slightly warped. Put them through the spin clean, but still ticks and pops in several places, mainly on Disc 1. Otherwise, sound quality is pretty good. Going to try a 2nd copy.
Edit: Replacement just as dirty, disc 1 plays a little better. -
The BEST of the best! I do love Queen Greatest hits 2 as well. But this is a definite must have to any vinyl collection. Pressing is great and is ready for repeat playing. Highly recommended!

Just picked this up at our local Record Store and count me in as another one who's copy is outstanding, very full and rich, this really is amazing.

Edited one year ago3 star listener's experience. I'd say the tracks are loud and clean with pronounced bass. Normalized recording level from song to song... This collection feels like an original album rather than a set of tracks from different albums. Nice mastering. Yet, it's little bit on flat side lucking the air, stereo depth and richness. Looks so comparing to the original vinyl records and albums issued on audio cassettes. This collection sounds cleaner yet not that rich, warm and lively. Present collection sounds more flat and digitalized. The album I've got is printed in Canada. It might sound different comparing to US and/or UK releases printed there. I bought the album on Discogs stated as US release, but I received a copy Printed in Canada. Often, I find Canadian prints sound clean and loud yet on some flat side comparing to US ones , most of the European and some of the Asian releases printed in the countries. Present Queen's collection is a fine one. It may be the best single Queen's collection ever released. However, the Made in Canada copy I received wins just 3 solid stars sound wise. PS Also, 3 out of 4 sides in my copy warped moderately. It doesn't affect the replay, but reveals poor QC of this particular release printed in Canada having a known negative affect on the cartridge on a long run, degrading the potential resale value of the album notably.

Edited 2 years agoMine too! Sounds freaking amazing. I had to give a significant clean but, no complaints here. There are some serious variations in Queen pressings and mastering over the years, much of it is muted and dull to my ears. This is quiet and sparkly with a Fat Bottom. No complaints here.

Mine sounds spectacular. Silent after a clean and floats through the air in 3D! Amazing sounding record
