Edited one year agoMinnie Riperton was a wonderful vocalist, and taken from this world far too soon. Come to my garden is an excellent album that clearly showcases her extensive vocal range. Come to my garden and Les fleurs are two outstanding tacks.

A GREAT YOUTUBER JUST MADE ME THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON YOUTUBE Last Month! For the first time on Youtube, #minnieriperton freshman album AND MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MINNIE RIPERTON ALBUM , "COME INTO MY GARDEN" was posted on youtube in it's entirety!!! YES..YES..YES..YES..YES!!!!!!!!! This is the original, FIRST PRESS, FIRST RELEASE of #minnieripertons "Come Into My Garden" album, recorded on the GRT Label in 1970. The entire album was produced by conductor Charles Stephany. The great #ramseylewis was featured on the album on instrumentals, along with #maricewhite of the great soul music group #earthwindandfire . The album was recorded in studio in Minnie's home town of #chicago Ilinois. Minnie first started recording on this album in 1969, while she was still with the Psychedelic Soul Music Group, #rotaryconnection. The album was completed and released in 1970. The album did not chart and no hits were recorded on Billboard for the album, but SO WHAT! This is STILL (in my opinion) MINNIE'S BEST ALBUM EVER! I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!!! TOTALLY LOVE IT!!! First of all, I love EVERY SINGLE SONG ON THIS ALBUM so it will be very hard for me to pick a few of my favorites when ALL OF THE CUTS ON THIS ALBUM ARE MY FAVORITE!!! Charles Stephany KILLED IT on Production of the "Come Into My Garden" album. I love how Charles Stephany was smart enough as a producer to clearly see that Minnie Riperton had a vocal style and a vocal range that FAR SURED Soul Music! I loved the "Come Into My Garden" album because Charles Stephany did not BOX MINNIE INTO ONE CATEGORY OF MUSIC STYLES! You clearly hear Stephany exploring Minnie's skills as a vocalist, merging her singing style with orchestra as well as rhythm and soulful instrumentation! THIS ALBUM IS SUPER #DOPE!!!!!!! THE WHOLE ALBUM KILLS!!!
