How sounded Beatlemania? Long time did you only Live At Hollywood Bowl. This live album was released in 1977, but contained recordings of The Beatles ' tour of the United States from 1964 and 1965. Collectors bought the plate, but listen to it was just a joy. The screams from the many American teenage girls drowned out the modest versterkertjes of the Quartet. Beatlemania so. The inability to hear each other on stage, prompted The Beatles to no longer to act and to retreat in the studio (and there the pop music to durably change). New techniques meant that it was possible the instruments to make it sound louder and the screams to find mixes. So we hear now The Beatles better than the ones in 1964/65 were present at those legendary concerts in Los Angeles. Funny detail: This cd was again mixed by Giles Martin, indeed the son of the firm Beatles-producer
