Not much surface noise at all- especially for a Rainbo pressing. Vocals sound great, bass and drums are super punchy- no issues with the ends of sides on my copy. All in all really nice. Just a shame the original insert isn't included, and that the jacket and new insert are altered as this is a different label than the original copies and none of the money from these reissues are going to Jello anymore.

would love a 2xLP repressing but i have absolutely no complaints about the sound on this one, one of the best sounding LPs i own minus some surface noise. think this album would sound good on any format though.

This sounds decent and I only paid $13 for it brand new, BUT it's very off center and sounds terrible towards the very end of each side. I guess that's what happens on an LP that's 45 minutes long. There's just a bit too many grooves on each side. If I were you I'd try for an older pressing unless you find a good deal like I did. It mostly sounds alright, but it's far from "audiophile" quality.
