Maybe overlooked because of Defiant Pose. That is and was a classic thanks to their iconic sleeve. Made by Hipgnosis..I dont know if the did so many other punkbands. The music is good of course-and this one also. I got two of "Defiant Pose",cant have to many. I had the 12" back in the time. I I feel cheated because of the generic Step Forward Sleeve. Now I have hade made a bigger picture that I made at a print shop. And yes,the album was not good. But the "Fascist Dictator" and the single I write about -at the wrong page-sorry,is both classics. All the best! (and Stardancer1: the 77 release was not glossy. Some thin paper sleeve)

This is really a great early ’77 punk single. They did two good singles and then a horrible LP. Try to get the demo bootleg LP instead.

I had this back in '77 but lost it along the way, so I've just got another one. The thing is the new one has a glossy sleeve and I don't the original having a glossy sleeve. Could be my memory.

The A side is a scorching hot ripper of ‘77 style capital P punk goodness. This thing smokes. Definitely for fans Crime, the Saints, Radio Birdman, etc. These guys might get overlooked but trust me , this is a cooker…

great 45 by a very over looked 77 uk punk outfit, nice sleeve as you can see, if this photo on the sleeve was taken by 1979 or 1980 i would call the cortinas an oi oi band but in 77 this is a bit where oi started............
