When I was first getting into Radiohead, I bought Kid A Mnesia because, at the time, three albums in one sounded like a great deal. And while that may be somewhat true, after listening to the standalone copy of Amnesiac, it sounds miles better. Not thin and compressed into one disc like on A Mnesia; nice and loud, less distorted, just great in general. Pressing is incredibly solid.
-
Pretty solid pressing, I’ve got it used but it still sounds amazing, well balanced and fine quality. If you have a chance to get this don’t hesitate!
-
My copy also has some disappointing piano midrange distortion (esp on Pyramid Song, unfortunately), but even with that, this is one of the best sounding albums I own. Absolutely stunning, and very much like hearing the album for the first time again. The more experimental songs, like Pulk/Pull and Spinning Plates, sound phenomenal—much more musical at this level of fidelity. This is the definitive Amnesiac for me.
-
Excellent version. Clean, flat, quiet. Great width, depth, separation of instruments and vocals. Amazing album. Often overlooked but might be one of their best.
-
I must've got unlucky, each disc and side filled with distracting surface noise, even after a deep wet clean. Probably a bad copy but who knows..
-
Mine has HORRIBLE non-fill issues near the end of side C—at least a dozen 1mm craters that are easily visible to the naked eye. Shame. The rest of both discs are as close to perfect as I’ve seen from a RH release.
-
Some crackles but otherwise a truly ghostly, holographic experience. The best sounding record I've ever heard

Up there in of Radiohead pressings. Beautiful rich, clean and detailed sound. Very glad I got this one!
