Sorry, this is the original pressing from 1991, isn't it? Who changed the information on this record to say it's a repress and altered the release year from 1991 to 1992? Also Printed inner sleeve, "monkey" side it is printed upside down.
Which means, this is indicating that the record is an old original pressing. -
wow, this is a sound, I highly recommend it, it's an absolutely amazing thing that can still be found for very good money, nothing to add, this is without comment, if you see it somewhere in good condition, grab it and run

Edited 9 months agoActually, I was dead tired of Nevermind. But as this pressing plays this is a revelation to me how immortal this record is. Will spin on my turntable from today to eternity.

This pressing sounds phenomenal. I also have a BG lacquered version and an original CD and neither compares to this pressing. The midrange cuts through and Chris' bass sounds livelier while Dave's drums are thunderous without being punchy. Bernie's version is a bit scooped in comparison but still sounds fine. This version just has that added 'life' which gives Kurt's voice a little something something.

Edited one year agoIt’s excellent. Hit a few snags on my way to acquiring “the perfect” EU first press, but this is a great one. The legendary early press dynamics are on full display here. Subjectively, I wonder if the bass is quite as good on this as on the German Sonopress (which is what fixated me on getting a first press of my own), but in any event, it’s close to it and vastly superior to the reissues, including the BG cut (which I also own). I house this pressing in the magnificent 30th anniversary gatefold. I’m probably good on Nevermind until I can compare it to a US first press to see if there’s any difference aside from the runout matrix.

Incredible sounding pressing. I tend to prefer UK or German pressings over American so happy to have this rather than the super expensive US edition. I wonder how they compare?
