Massive tune, just goes on and on. Brilliant. A lot of the Hard Hands stuff seemed to share those tough Leftfield esque sounds but that's a good thing in my view.

At the risk of sounding clichéd upon saying so: this sounds insanely recent and original still after 30 years. Acidy, very hi-NRG and hard-housey. Something both Sasha and Tony de Vit might have played. (Maybe the dub for the first-mentioned and the vocal for the latter.) Has huge cross-over potential, as a good progster should have by definition.

Edited 3 years agoAs soon as it kicks in you know your in for a big tune, big heavy beats, driving rhythm, building & building until the break, where its builds back up again with that nice little acid undertone. Fantastic track, but one one of those that needs to be played loud to really suck you in, made with ion.

One of the best tracks of all times, the vibe of this track is unreal, so deep and so heavy at the same time, with layers upon layers, upon layers, yet all the right synth sounds & key notes have dropped in, that gives you the feelling of freedom and happiness. Belongs to totally different era of music and life generally, very outdated for todays empty standards, but that's add the importance for this tunage.

Edited 5 years agoStill sounds SO fresh, those synths & pads, the vocal, everything. A lesson for todays producers & then some, its 100% lose yourself music from the days of dark rooms & true hedonism, long before the video walls. First heard this on XL Recordings 4th Chapter, magic times.

Hands down, one of the best progressive house releases ever put together in a time when the word "progressive" actually meant something.
