This IS the soundtrack for the midlle ages, nevermind there was no electricity... almost 40 years after it's release, what are more 40 years atop a five centuries old soundtrack?!

Edited 6 years agoThe best DCD album. Hands down. Perfect balance of great music and deeply important lyrics.
This album was the transition period....it has the flavor of their first album mixed with the later stuff. Don't get me wrong please, every single DCD album to me is beyond 5 stars....this one is just a little further. The last track is such an important message in our time. -
4AD recently re issued all of D.C.D's albums themselves on vinyl and CD the the sound quality is really fantastic and all tracks have been re-mastered and all the artwork enhanced too id release a collectors edition of all the albums in a beautiful boxed set which has artwork card included too and a booklet of photos . I have the box set of the CD and it includes the the Garden of The Arcane Delights
