    I agree with Rev 99 & RMK - that maybe there is a better copy (the RL). This doesn’t sound bad, in fact it sounds fine. I wish they mixed the drums and bass a bit different. Robert P sounds great. I have never found a RL before, and missed out on the Classic Records, so this will do.

    Until they come out with a better copy. Then I will buy that.

      Based on the available information I don't know if this 1969 pressing was mastered from the inferior backup RL tape that has been noted sounds terrible but for my ears and on my system this pressing sounds pretty good with detailed bass and great all around sound. I don't have an RL copy to compare it to but I do have the 1977 Sheffield Lab mastering copy that has been noted in reviews to sound very good with deep bass. Comparing both copies I can't really say if one sounds better than the other but they both sound great to me.
