Can anyone help me as I have this record but the cover is completely different. It has Chinese lettering all over it and the number SB-3129. On the album label it is printed with 'Golden Star volume 129, THE SINGLES 1969-1973, CARPENTERS (Golden Album).
I can't seem to find any information anywhere about this record.

No one turns off Karen! - Ghost Rider. 100% agreed. Karen just has a voice that cannot and should not be replicated. This collection of songs show represent them wonderfully. My pressing sounds fantastic! Highly recommended!

Fantastic album for anyone who grew up in the 70s these are all the favourite songs you heard on the AM radio as a kid or teenager! Truly a trip down memory lane. Karen was known for close-mic singing and the breadth and clarity of her spectacular voice shines through on all her vocals. The melodies and lyrics are unforgettable. As mentioned on Wikipedia "Top of the World" and "Ticket To Ride" were re-recorded new versions and "Superstar", "Rainy Days and Mondays" and "Goodbye To Love" have been ed together as one long soundtrack, all of which is only available on this album.

Why is this listed under albums instead of compilations? It is a greatest hits album.

The RN says "Pressed in Los Angeles" but the company credits say Indianapolis. The Variant 1 runout, if it has a stamped I, is Indy, but maybe that Variant 1 should have been its own release.
