I just received a NM copy of this pressing and I cannot agree with the review below: It sounds amazing. Great tight and deep bass without compromising highs and mids.
-
Honestly, I would love this sound amazing. But it doesn't, it's just ok. The good old original CD sounds really great. Don't spend silly money on this.
-
Someone who talks about the sound quality and not the cover, please ...
It have sibilant voices? good dynamics and bass? The 2010 edition fails on this.
-
goodbooking Yep, you are absolutely right. This was Massive Attacks way to give an Anti-War statement.
-
Edited 10 years agoas far as I Massive Attack decided to leave out "Attack" of their band name for the first or second edition of this album cause at that time Kuweit was taken over by Sadam and Bush no 1 attaked the Iraque. It was their statement against this war. Correct me if I´m haveing a wrong memory on this.
