Notes
Many Variations Exist of this Album.
This is a Stereo First Pressing with Capitol's Los Angeles Pressing Plant's "✲" Stamper in
the Dead Wax and has Black Labels with Capitol Color Band / Rainbow around their perimeters / outer edges.
The Labels do NOT say The Beatles anywhere on them, instead listing the band by name.
Same goes for the cover, which only says The Beatles on the Spine and on Back. This version has a
White Border around the cover, with the Catalog # ST 2442 to the far right of the top edge. this variation
does NOT say "File Under . . ." and it has the wording "New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo"
appears inside the cover artwork, NOT above it in the white border, as some variations have it.
This variation also has the number 6 to the left of the RIAA seal at the bottom right of the back cover.
Cover fabricated by Imperial Packing Co., Inc. of Indianapolis, IN

Very warm sounding pressing.for its age. My copy is so close to being VG+ (just a hair too much surface noise) and still sounds amazing. I bought mine years ago in the '90's for $10. Prices haven't increased too bad over the years so I recommend this pressing if you're hunting for one.

Hi
I wonder if you know a ST 2442 version that has "Beatles" name appearing on Side 1 but NOT on side 2? Thanks in advance.
