this is a review for the RED VINYL EDITION OF THIS 2 LP SET, if you get the red vinyl version you should also get a necklace that came with this as well, there is also a blue vinyl version as well, there where 500 blue pressed and 500 red vinyl pressed of this title, the RED VINYL only comes with the necklace as the blue vinyl edition was exported to the us, my guess is out of 500 blue the us got around 250 or 300 copies maybe, the red vinyl seems to have been for the european market but a lot of us yanks that wanted it still could pay more and get it wich i did, this is a beautiful gatefold 2 lp set, the artwork as you can see is flawless and i feel it may be the nicest priest lp sleeve in almost 40 years since sad wings of destiny back in 1976, the sleeves, the inner gatefold eveything is very very well done here and any die hard jp fan or collector will love this edition,as for the music????? sadly this record can grow on you but it really just kind of chugs along and it does not seem to go anyplace, sadly as a jp fan myself since 1978 i still feel even after robs long overdue return to priest back in 2003 was great for the live shows this record does not hold up to anything jp did in the 70s and 80s, for me the last great jp record was painkiller, sadly since then the writing has just lost its magic, anyway i still listen to priest all the time and i do still the band and i really bought this for my jp collection as i knew the music was not going to be able to hold a stick up to what these guys where doing a few decades ago..................
