what should i say.....sounds definitely different than https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/de/release/7765282-Helloween-Walls-Of-Jericho but it is also not perfect. guitars, bass, drums - everything sounds fat and with more dynamic but the vocals seem a bit muddy.

One of the all time greatest albums to ever come out of in the 80's bar none.
Great crafted songs.Super beautiful guitar-solo's often lasting minutes and fast drumming yet melodic in their own super speed metal blend. Kai is singing for his life here. Some of it so good he could never re-produce it live (Guardians). Although as always with this band, each album would contain a fun-song - this one being the sing-a-long Heavy Metal (is the law) - which does pull down the overall high standard that this full lenght debut album is a testament to.

Kai Hansen blew away just about everybody when this was released. Helloween's earlier EP (particularly Victim Of Fate) hinted as much, but such melody, harmony and lightning quick delivery was almost unheard of at the time. "Ride The Sky', 'Guardians' and 'Metal Invaders' remain testament to his astonishing song writing gift that many thrashers were dismayed to see translate to the 'Keeper" albums and "Gamma Ray' project, The band now is an embarrassment to their name, but this album is legend, , hence those riding on it's coattails.
