On labels: "Made in England," "Recorded in cooperation with the 'E. A. Teatro alla Scala,' Milan," and "Sung in Italian"
On box, inner sleeves, and booklets: "Printed In U.S.A."
The embossed or raised "N" stamped on the labels of sides A and B near the spindle hole (although sans any visible "T") is likely a coded mark signifying a particular UK "Purchase Tax" rate. In this case, the one in place from April 15, 1953 until October 26, 1955.
