Every other Bandcamp purchase I've gotten stays available for in perpetuity. This one didn't. Honest Jon's and Bandcamp both said it's the other's fault basically....As far as the music? Quite a few clunkers in my opinion. That wooden box instrument seems to only afford a few different rhythms / themes? That thumb harp thing gets old too. The Moondog story was fascinating for about an hour. Then I thought I'd just kill myself being blind on the street. The unrelated book with the same title was drivel and unreadable.

what a great value this 2XLP is. sound is very good, with no surface noise to speak of. great overview of this peculiar genius.

I just bought a (seemingly) new copy, unsure of pressing year, but it sounds great. No surface noise whatsoever.

In a lot of ways a really well put together compilation. Only downside is that it's so hard to tell which tracks are which. It is not easy to have a clear overview of what you are listening to, although I guess that is by choice of the compiler.

Top notch packaging. A great looking compilation that covers a lot of material. Unfortunately, the pressing is plagued with surface noise. I took back one copy that was extremely bad only to be replaced with one that is less severe. Still, I'm glad to have it in my collection. I believe my copy is a 2014 reissue that's not listed on Discogs at the moment.
