i never really understood the hype around this song, to me it just sounds like a basic house track for its time :/

A track we have all heard so many times, and that became extremely commercial, all that said its just a massive track that holds its own in the history of house & it just sounds fantastic even today, it just has that little sprinkle of magic about it. Back in 92 as soon as that bassline dropped everyone was up for it & it was simply huge, a lot of happy memories with this track & I still enjoy the odd play of the "Stonebridge Club Mix".

still sounds fresh today!! brings back those summer vibes of 92...still the best mix by far the stonebridge club mix.

Edited 7 years ago1 of the biggest house anthems ever..the stonebridge club mix is an all time classic that on a personal note brings back alot of great memories from back in the day! An unbelievable vocal that has been sampled in many releases since but will never compare to this original classic. Love this loads 💕

You got to give it to me give it to me give it to me yeah.
Big tune. This one is as large as the horse & barge, harefield crew where you be?
On a more serious note I do love this tune. Stonebridge know how to do pop-house, just give them the vocal and off they go. Great intro that rides on the cusp and then kicks on.
Released in many different formats but as long as it has the stonebridge club mix its happy days. -
This release is one of the biggest hits to date for Swedish producer Stonebridge, born in Stockholm on 02/07/1961. He founded Swemix (swedish version of DMC) in 1986. He used a Korg M1 synthesiser to create that typical sound in 'Show Me Love', a sound that was copied many times after that.
