My copy of _Swamp Thing_ comes with a sticker that says 'Der Hit mit dem Banjo.' That's the track in a nutshell -- perhaps the first bluegrass-techno combination to hit the world. The "Grid Southern Comfort Mix" is merely an extended version. Deep Piece deliver two mixes -- the first, the "Deep Dub Piece" strips out the banjo but keeps the handclaps, which sort of effaces the purpose of the song. I can understand not wanting to be too attached to the banjo part, but still… it’s Der Hit mit dem Banjo! The "Deep Piece Mix" brings the banjos back in, and all is right in the world again.
