Edited 4 years agoA masterpiece of macabre British pop. Leyton is oddly relaxed, almost stately - the backing singers sound like they were recorded via a seance - with a driving, spectral backing. Writer Geoff Goddard deserves wider recognition. Joe Meek changed popular music, period. All yours for about £1!
