About the transfer:
The Louis De Meester tapes were delivered from Alpha as pancakes which were transferred to some empty reels and played back on a Studer A 80 tape machine. They required no baking and played back with excellent results considering their age. Each tape was digitised at 24 bit 96kHz resolution and apart from a few minor lever corrections between audio channels no further processing was needed.
Compilation in accordance with Mdm. Suzanne Naury (Alpha). Thanks to Gerd De Wilde. Licensed Courtesey of Alpha Records / Suzanne Naury.
Limited edition pressing of 500 copies.
