Part of the 'Digital Masterpiece Series' unfortunately the first track is a little too hot in the mastering, I really have to turn that one down. After that digital equilibrium is restored as well as my ear pleasure. As for the music and backing, if you are familiar with David Lynch's 'The Straight Story' film and love the music from that, this could also be up your street. Some sunlight but mostly a foreboding listen, not feelgood but feelreal for those in the slow lane or lost highway of life.

Edited 9 years agoThis is a great album, it doesn't contain the same sort of accessible gems as either "Harvest" or "After the Goldrush", but it's a personal, maybe slightly gloomy album that benefits from repeated listening. There are no dubs here, but i think the title track and "Revolution Blues" featuring Rick Danko's Bass and David Crosby's rhythm guitar, are the highlights, along with "Ambulance Blues".
