Further solidified The Byrds as the premier folk-rock unit with their signature jangle guitar sound, dynamic textures, great country-esque vocal harmonies, pop oriented instrumentations & songs that ooze a certain spiritual nature. Successful accomplishment of that difficult 2nd album - initial boosters (Mr Tambouring Man) jettisoned while first stage continues to burn (Turn Turn Turn) - second stage (Fifth Dimension) about to be fired. Worth hearing among the canon of other great Byrds albums.
